Hi there! I am currently a PhD candidate at University of Alberta. My research interests fall into Human-computer Interaction, Affect, and learning Analytics. Recent research involves applying sensory and psychometric approaches to support modelling of students' affect and cognitive states. Such models can further inform the adaptive designs that improve learning performance and enhance the learning experience. In my Master's thesis project, I worked on remote communication with mixed reality and gesture interactions to provide a co-located feeling.
