Hi there! I am currently a PhD candidate at University of Alberta. My research interests lie in Human-computer interaction (HCI), Affect, and learning Analytics. I am particularly focused on understanding how people behave and their experiences when interacting with emerging educational technologies. This understanding is crucial to provide insights that inform automated adaptive designs, aiming to improve performance and enhance experience. My recent research has centred on developing models of students' affective and cognitive states using physiological tracking (e.g., eye tracking, EDA). For my Master's thesis, I explored remote communication with mixed reality and gesture interactions to provide a co-located feeling.
